In need of some help.
I just installed this today.. so far I downloaded the ZIP file and extracted it and all others into the same file.. Made vista read it as compatible for Windows XP and then made an account on here.. I am now trying to log into the game but all the no success.
Anyone able to tell me why I can not connect or if I have done something wrong

Probably a bit late, but did you start a local server? Currently there is no public server available for Peragro and you have to start one on you computer and create an account on that server. You should have two programs, peragro-server and peragro, start peragro-server running from a command prompt so you can create an account and log into game world.
But asking on the IRC channel irc://irc.freenode.net/peragro more likely to get a quick answer.
